Okay, I've finally had it with violent dogs. Even dogs that bark, or annoy people, or strain at their leases. Put them all in a freakin' bag and drop them off the nearest bridge! Walking home tonight, a pit bull from a nearby house ran out at my wife and I and scared the bejesus out of us. The fuckhead owner, a twit blonde on a cell phone, yanked at the dogs chain and told me how docile and friendly the dog was. What a load of crap! Please note: I realize that many dogs themselves are "not to blame" but quite honestly, I don't give a shit. If we'd been injured by this snarly, muscular, mindless thug dog it wouldn't matter who was to blame, as the result would have been the same. And you know what? I simple don't think I should be frightened on my way home from dinner! If a person had run out at me and threatened me, I could have had them charged....but the fuckhead owners of this dogs (and millions of similar beasts and owners nationwide) get a total skate. This is BS. I've been bitten by dogs twice in my life, and both times the owners whined and cried and told everyone that "Poochy has never bit anyone before, he's so nice." They lie. Mean dogs that threaten people, and the people who harbor them, are a menace. On second thought. Maybe the dogs AND the owners should be heaved over the bridge.
